London, England Mouth and Foot Painting Artists Publishing, 2000 Hard Cover Fine Near Fine

He lived in Germany during the 1930's and his social comment pictures marked him as an enemy of the state - he spent months in prison and upon release was not allowed to paint. Despite all of the obstacles that confronted him, Erich Stegmann distinguished himself as an artist. This book tells his story and shows some of his beautiful paintings.
